
Chulu Far East Peak Climbing is one of classic climbing in Nepal combined with the famous Annapurna Circuit Trek. Among the three peaks Chulu, the climbing of the Summit of the Far East of Chulu is a simple but fun ascent and requires no prior technical experience in climbing. However, the steep terrain and the scree during the approach make the task a little difficult. This summit has often been compared to Island Peak in the Everest region.
Chulu Far East Peak Ascension offers climbers the opportunity to witness the breathtaking donations of nature. The hike crosses quiet landscapes, lush vegetation and the traditional villages of the Gurung people in the majestic region of Annapurna.
Location:
The trek takes place in the annapurnas region, in the center of Nepal, crossing two valleys of the Budi Gandaki and Marshyangdi river and reaching the edge of the Tibetan plateau.
Duration:
The trek generally takes 16-19 days, according to the route and the detours taken.
Strengths:
Larkeye La Pass: the highest point of the trek at 5106 meters.
Various landscapes: lush forests and rice fields with sterile alpine regions, rhododendrons forests and high altitude colonies.
Cultural experiences: go through inhabited villages such as LHO, Sho Lhie and Samdo by different ethnic groups such as the Bhotes, the Gurungs.
Scenic views: the trek offers a breathtaking view of the Manaslu massif, the Nadi Chuli, the Himalis the Himlung and other imposing peaks.
Difficulty:
The Manaslu circuit is considered a moderately difficult trek, requiring a good level of physical form and acclimatization to high altitudes.
Best time for trek:
The shoulder seasons of spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) offer the best weather conditions for trekking.

Early Matain we take the transfer for Besisahar. Besisahar is the Lamjung district capital. Change of vechuile to continue the track to Dharapani. About 4 hours of track.

We frank the Forest of alpins with the view of Lamjun and Annapurnas 2. Arrive at Bhratang big garden of apple during the season of apple you can enjoy. The valley is enchanted by the cliffs. Visite of monastry to Uppe pisang in the Authentic village.
After having breakfast our journey continue through alpine forest upon the climb to the old and very beautiful village of Ghyaru. Super view of the Annapurnas, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and Pisang Peak. Balcony day with the splendite view of the valley and peaks.

We will trek through many quaint villages and beautiful landscapes with delightful views of several mountain ranges in the Annapurna region. Traversing through the beautiful glaciers, you will reach Chulu Far East Base Camp, an appropriate campsite to set up the camp. Quite short day for acclimatization.
We will trek the uphill trail that offers the astounding view of mountains such as Chulu East, Chulu West, Pisang Peak, and Chulu Far East, including the majestic vistas of the Annapurna valley. Short day for acclimatization and rest. Afternoon preparation of equipment and demostration and tecnical breiffing by guide.
Early morning, we leave the high camp with our head torches on in a bid to summit Chulu Far East. The climb is straight forward and non-technical but few exposed ridge and steep climb make it bit challenging. We follow the south-west route to the summit from the high camp. The panoramic views of the Himalayan panoramas from the peak is breath taking.. The extreme-east of Chulu include the Annapurna II, III and IV, Gangapurna , Manaslu , Lamjung Himal, Dome glacier, Pisang Peak, Chulu West Peak and Dhaulagiri.
After a few hours of the climb, we reach the Summit. At the summit you will get to witness the majestic views around. After cherishing moments at the summit, you will return back to high camp then Yak kharaka.
After our objective completed and achieved, we retrace all the way back to the main Annapurna circuit trail. We trek towards Humde village which takes 3.
We take the 4 × 4 jeep for Besisahar. Free afternoon. Preparation for the last evening.
After breakfast, it is time for us to collect our vehicle back to Kathmandu.

Accommodation: Teahouses are available along the trekking route, offering basic rooms with twin beds and shared bathrooms. At higher altitudes, especially at base camp and high camp, camping accommodation is required, with tents and basic facilities.
Meals: Nutritious meals, including dal bhat (rice, lentils, vegetables), noodles, soups, and Tibetan bread, are served during the trek. In lower altitudes, some meat options are available, but as you ascend, food choices become more limited due to remote access.
Trekking Permit: You need an Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP), Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) card, and a Chulu Far East Climbing Permit.
Health and Safety: Altitude sickness is a risk above 3,000 meters, especially near High Camp (5,400m) and the summit (6,059m). Acclimatization days, staying hydrated, and moving at a steady pace are essential. Your guide will carry a first-aid kit and an oximeter for altitude monitoring.
Best Time: The best climbing seasons are March to May (spring) and September to November (autumn). These months offer stable weather, clear skies, and safer climbing conditions. Winter is extremely cold, and monsoon season brings heavy rain and difficult trails.
